First Week of School

I will apologize right now for it not being a very good picture. We couldn't find the camera and when we did find it the battery was dead and we couldn't find the charger. Tells you how often we actually take pictures. But the first week back, things went well. Claire didn't have much homework. We worked on her addition facts so she would get used to the idea of having homework. She didn't enjoy it much needless to say. Todd was thrilled to start kindergarten and is still going strong. He had great behavior all last week. We will see how this week goes. He did have one incident. He hit a boy in P.E. His excuse was that the boy was bothering him. We told him to move away from the boy next time instead of hitting him and if the teacher/coach asks why tell him the kid was bothering you. Rachel is loving fourth grade. She has one of her really good friends from last year in her class. She still misses her friend that moved to Idaho, but had a terrific first week back. The parents are not too thrilled about their bus stop. It is on two main artery roads coming into the subdivision. I don't mind them getting off there because the bus has the blinking stop light but the kids crossing that busy road when the sun isn't even up yet has Craig and I both concerned. Craig was taking them down the other day in his car and he almost got hit. I have been trying to get a hold of the bus route lady but she hasn't returned my calls. We will be calling her again today. HOORAY!!!
